1 scoop of ice
45ml Dry Vermouth
45ml Fino Sherry (Very dry sherry)
30ml Gin (english gin is best)
Combine the ingrediants in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a Martini Glass and serve with or without green olives!
ENJOY!!!
I am having a cocktail and Hors d’Oveures party. I’m asking my guests to dress semi-formal–so it’s a bit of a fancy event. I want the best for my food, but am trying to cut back on the cost a little. What would you suggest for a struggling perfectionist who doesn’t want to buy a bottle of sherry just for 2 tablespoons in a baked crab and cheddar hors d’oveures recipe?
Specifically, Gin, Vodka, and Vermouth. I’ve heard of storing the Gin and Vodka in the freezer, and the vermouth in the fridge, but I’ve also heard this will result in less water being melted in the mixing and a more biting (not as good?) martini? I’m a martini novice, please help.
for marinating the meat in a shish kabob, what is a good recipe?
one for an easy back yard grilling and one without the ingredient soy sauce, not that i don’t like it, i just want to go for a different flavor and taste. thanks in advance!
